Precious Nyarambi, a female social entrepreneur, international speaker, coach, mentor and author, from Zimbabwe moved to South Africa for economic reasons. As an immigrant in a foreign country, she experienced several challenges in getting a job, and even considered prostitution. At that stage of her life, she finally understood how easy it was for those marginalized in society to become homeless and/or resort to illegal means in order to make a living. This experience led to the start of her business – Elohay Cleaners- as she was determined to empower this population, especially women, get back on their feet. To create employment for herself and others, she ventured into the path of entrepreneurship.
Precious decided to pursue her education in entrepreneurship while in South Africa and this opened more doors of opportunities for her as an immigrant. As a social entrepreneur, who is not just simply involved in starting up businesses but one also passionate about helping others and impacting communities, Precious seeks to keep empowering women by training and employing them. Precious is the founder of Vessels of Virtue and the Managing Director for Elohay Cleaners & Prember Holdings. When asked about the source of her success, she attributes it all to God, who has been her pillar and source of strength in her low moments.
