026: Shay Prosser – Money & Credit Educator

Shay founded Get It Together with her business partner Hallie Hawkins after leaving her position as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.  Her passion for financial planning began about the time she began making money.  What began as hobby managing her own future, designing endless spreadsheets and having thought provoking conversations with her father, grew into a passion for knowledge and education.  Shay and Hallie are the authors of Get It Together: Real World Money Guide for Graduates and Get It Together: Real World Money Guide to Cash and Credit.

Prior to embarking on a career as a financial advisor, Shay was a marketing specialist for Microsoft and for Strategic Technologies.  Her marketing and software skills have come in handy as Get It Together has grown and developed more services for clients.  Shay and her husband, Johnny, and their two young daughters and Dooley, the golden retriever, live and work in Charlotte, NC.
