J. Bert Freeman (Bert), is the author of Taking Charge of Your Positive Direction (2006), Your Positive Direction NOW (2010), the e-book Maximizing Respect in the Workplace (2011) and the Unity of Effort in a Positive Direction Performance Development Manual (2010).
He is a member of Toastmasters International as a Distinguished Toastmaster, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the Association for Talent Development and the Business Klub.
In 1987 he founded T.A.L.K. Associates. Since then, J. Bert Freeman and T.A.L.K. Associates have provided organizations and individuals the learning and development support necessary to use and experience Consistent Positive Direction in all of their human activities.
Through years of growth and development these efforts have evolved into 21st Century skills, practices and approaches for anyone to move forward and improve forward, even in the most critical circumstances. In his public life and his personal life, he has a reputation for practicing the Positive Direction Communication Skills that he teaches.
Bert is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Engineering and Golden Gate University with an M.S. in Human Relations. He was also a U.S. National Fencing Champion and a member the U.S. Olympic Fencing Team.
He believes that everyone deserves positive direction in their professional and personal lives.
